We’re Going on a Bear Hunt

A board book by Michael Rosen, illustrated by Helen Oxenbury. 36-page story of a family going on a bear hunt. On their quest, the family has to overcome many obstacles like mud, rivers, caves and forests and in the end of their journey they decide bear hunts are not to be repeated. This board book maintains interest for even the youngest listeners. Audiobook and paperback versions are also available and you can use Super Saver Delivery, if you reside in the United Kingdom.  Same book was recommended for the 1989 Kate Greenaway Medal and won Smarties Book Prize the same year.

This book is a must have, at least for my three year old kid, who loves to recite it with all the emotions, that this book provides. Great entertainment for me and my husband also.

My little girl knows this book by heart now and she really likes it, I think, because she has been reading it almost every day. Book arrived fast and was in great mint condition, so I’m very satisfied with this purchase. CD should also be great fun for kids, as you can listen to it on long car trips and so on.

I would recommend it for a birthday gift  and I just love the mini-hardback version, because it fits nicely to backpacks and is easy to take with. Great story and my kids like it very much.
